Chua Thiam Joo - Partner 

Thiam Joo has over 19 years' experience in the government, mining, infrastructure and private equity investment sectors. Thiam Joo was SVP at G.K. Goh Strategic Holdings Pte Ltd, a prominent private family office in Singapore responsible for its private and public investments in countries such as Australia, China, Indonesia and Singapore.

He was formerly an Executive Director on the Board of PT Truba Alam Manunggal Engineering Tbk, one of the largest integrated power company listed on IDX (part of the Charoen Pokphand Group Indonesia). Prior to that he was Director in PT Kideco Jaya Agung (3rd largest coal mining company in Indonesia) and Vice-President (Corporate Finance) in Indika Group. Thiam Joo has a strong track record in business development, value-enhancing acquisitions and fund-raising.

While at Indika, Thiam Joo was a key member of the team that secured acquisition financing from a syndication of Korean Banks (awarded Korean loan of the year in 2004 by IFR Asia). Prior to joining Indika, Thiam Joo was Singapore Economic Development Board's Jakarta Centre Director and concurrently served as the First Secretary (Industry) at the Singapore Embassy in Indonesia. Thiam Joo has a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree from the National University of Singapore and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

 

Pay Cher Wee - Partner 

Cher Wee has over 22 years' experience in the manufacturing, supply chain management, healthcare and private equity investment sectors. Cher Wee was EVP at GKG Investment Holdings Pte Ltd, a prominent private family office in Singapore responsible for its private and public investments in countries such as China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.

He was formerly CFO of Raffles Medical Group Ltd, one of the largest integrated healthcare group listed on SGX. Prior to that he was CFO of Venture Corporation Ltd ("Venture"), a leading global Electronics Service Provider listed on SGX. Cher Wee has a strong track record in optimizing operating efficiency, effective cash management and value-enhancing acquisitions. While at Venture, Cher Wee was voted Best CFO in Singapore in 2004 by Asiamoney. Venture also received numerous corporate financial accolades during his tenure as CFO, including "Singapore's Best Managed Companies" by Finance Asia for 2001-2004 and "Asia Pacific Capital Efficiency Champion (Technology Hardware)" by CFO Asia in 2004 amongst others.

He started his career as an auditor in Deloitte & Touche, an international accounting firm. Cher Wee has a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) Degree from Nanyang Technological University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He is also a Council Member of Singapore Cancer Society, a leading charitable cancer organization, assuming the role of Honorary Treasurer.

 

Teo Kian Huat - Partner 

Kian Huat has over 20 years' experience in the healthcare, corporate finance and private equity investment sectors. Kian Huat was formerly Director at 2 boutique investment firms (Primeforth Capital and OneEquity SG) focusing on private equity investments in PRC companies. Prior to that, he spent about 4 years in corporate finance, first as AVP, Investment Banking in OCBC Bank, focusing on equity capital market, then as AVP, Corporate Finance in Hong Leong Finance, as part of the pioneer team which worked on IPOs, secondary fund raisings and Independent Financial Advisory assignments.

In the past 9 years, Kian Huat has built an extensive network of business contacts in the PRC market and accumulated significant experience in originating, evaluating and executing transactions involving PRC companies. Prior to joining the financial sector, he was Group Accountant at Parkway Holdings Limited, the largest integrated healthcare group listed on SGX, and had also served as the Financial Controller of its subsidiary Medi-Rad Associates Ltd.

Kian Huat started his career as an auditor in KPMG, an international accounting firm. Kian Huat has a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree from Nanyang Technological University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

 

Andy YongPartner 

Andy was the Managing Director of Nomura Wealth Management Asia and the Head of Nomura Trust Company. He has been in the financial industry since 2001, including, at Merrill Lynch Singapore as Director Private Client. Prior to that, he was with HSBC Private Bank and Trustee for five years where he held various positions – Head of Private Banking at HSBC Private Banking Malaysia (with responsibility for HSBC Private Bank Singapore business), Head of Private Trust at HSBC Trustee Malaysia, and Head of Global Wealth Solutions at HSBC Trustee Singapore.

Before entering into the financial industry, Andy was in finance and management consulting providing services in areas of financial management, strategic planning, restructuring and turnaround situation, and acted in senior management role in the USA and across Asia. With over 25 years of experience, Andy has demonstrated strong leadership and management attributes to building, growing and managing businesses.

He holds a M.B.A from Southern Illinois University, USA, Bachelor of Science (Finance) from Northern Illinois University, USA and a Bachelor of Science (Accountancy) from University of Idaho, USA.
